Like these: Be sure to get polarity right on the speakers (connect negative terminal of external speaker to positive terminal on soundbar speaker, and postive terminal of external speaker to positive amp output going to soundbar speaker. To make it clean, one could use 3.5mm mono phone jacks (the kind have have a switch built in) and plugs on the speaker. Not sure when I'll do this, but will post back if I do. No matter what you do, a good test would be leave the unit open and see if components get hot (both before and after making changes). I'll try putting speakers in series - this would yield 8 ohms, and may not be as loud, but should be fine for me since I usually have soundbar volume about halfway. It looks like there's a 4 ohm mark on these speakers - hooking up a 4 ohm speaker in parallel will reduce the load to 2 ohms, and I sense this would overload the amp.
